He's a genius and and an asshole as well
Maybe that's true of all geniuses. I don't know any, but Steve Jobs and T.A. Edison, maybe Oppenheimer, come to mind. Now I'm wondering about Einstein.

But seriously, as far as assholes go, Elon is pretty far down the scale. In the vast majority of videos where he's interacting with people he's humorous, quaint, and polite. He has a stringent attitude when it comes to performance in his companies, but that's the name of the game when you're trying to accomplish great things.
