I don't understand this statement. How the hell is working in the theatre not a proper career.

i dont mean that working in the theatre isn't a proper career, i mean is she going to work as an actress now or was the film a one off?

I still don't get you. She is an actress. She is working on a play at the moment called "dying for it" which is directed by "kathy burke". Just because it is theatre does not mean she is not an actress.

I agree, an actress is an actress wether they perform in tv/movies or theatre

well the last i heard she was going on tour with the English Touring Theatre.

i certainly hope that the film isn't a one-off for her

She is also at the old vic (staring in pygmalion) from May to September.
