Dianna Argon should be the next Buffy

I've been thinking who has the looks to play a new Buffy the past few years since you know they would probably do a new movie for it one day and I think Diana totally has the face for playing Buffy if they ever make the movie or revive the series. haha. Just a thought- what are your opinions?

i dont think so only for the reason, there is so much hate around it because Joss Whedon is not apart of it who created buffy, i wouldnt want dianna to have that stuck to her

Yeah but if they actually do a spectacular job it would bring her fame. Like how they did the Star Trek movie-- I wasn't a trekkie fan before but after the movie I was like wow :o

Needs to hire an acting coach before she ruins her career.

She is so GREAT to look at, but she has to put some personality and life into her characters.

I'm sure she's an iNtuitive in real life, but she has to be in the moment when she's on screen. It always looks like she's not there mentally.

So many people are against the "reboot" idea that it wouldn't be a good idea for any actor to take the risk. She has a pretty safe cushion with Glee, but it will probably be career suicide for any actress to take on that role so soon.

I do wish she'd been cast in the part of Dawn when the show was on the air. She does resemble Sarah Michelle Gellar and would've physically been a better fit for the Dawn character (especially since Michelle Trachtenberg looks so much like Amber Benson, it was distracting that they weren't playing sisters). I also hate MT and Diana would've made the role a lot better :).

i like her -- but no way in hell should she be the next buffy -- SMG is some big shoes to fill...a lot of young stars today should look up to SMG bc you never hear any bad press about her and she's very private w/her home life w/Freddie....that is why i love this couple-- they stay true to each other and you never hear any crap about them.....just to put it out there.. dianna seems to have a lot of growing up to do, esp w/the latest crap about alex being a "psycho", he wasn't bad until the movie came out though-- funny she broke up w/him or he broke up w/her when the movie came out .....SMG has class, and that is what the new Buffy should have...I like Minka Kelly -- dye her hair blonde and there ya go!

I don't think a few psychopaths that can't separate TV from reality are a legitimate reason to turn down a role.

Nutcases have become so numerous on message boards, blogs and comment threads that they've lost their sting.

I think most reasonable adults can tell which comments are from a person that has their head screwed on straight and which ones are from delusional flakes and losers.

Nearly every successful movie or show eventually gets re-made, re-booted, copied or followed by sequels these days, for better or worse.

The key for the next "Buffy" will be making it different enough from the TV series (and 1st movie) that there's something new for the majority of the hardcore "Buffy" fans who aren't lunatics, and of sufficient quality that it can stand on its own for people such as me who rarely or never watched the TV series.

I'm old school... I hate the idea of a Buffy film I wish people would just come up with their own ideas (not saying this because of lack of Whedon- I would have thought it a bad idea even with him on board)...I agree with what has been said above... There are some crazy Buffy fans and I think it would generate a lot of hate towards her and she doesn't deserve that (nobody does but she seems like a total sweetheart). I think they should drop the vampire bandwagon now it is getting tiresome...

I would like to see her maybe do something a little more drama based, something that could challenge her to show her acting chops- not something that has been done like Buffy because I think the danger with doing a reboot like that is that whoever plays her is going to model themselves on SMG's version because she did it so wonderfully...Buffy doesn't really need a reboot it was done brilliantly to begin with! Would love to see Dianna do something original, maybe a character diametrically opposed to Quinn and not a role based in high school...I think she would be fantastic doing something a little grittier and it would allow her to show her versatility.

Nobody should play the new Buffy because it should not be made!
