Not to mention, when she was cast in Glee, it WASN'T one of the biggest shows on television. They needed a generic blonde to play the snobby cheerleader. It wasn't until after the show took off and they needed to develop the characters that we saw Quinn grow as a character. Had Dianna been cast later on, after the show became a phenomenon, that argument might have something to stand on. MIGHT (I mean, let's be honest. I love Glee, and it's super popular, but it's not necessarily a basis upon which to judge talent). Mariah111384 hit the nail on the head, directors cash in on a familiar face in exchange for talent all too often.
