On Glee, it feels like she's forcing everything she does - and it was the same in "I am number four", which is strange. It's like she struggles with something, constantly. It's not necesserily a bad thing, but... has anyone else noticed it?

shareShe's not a good actress. At all. But she really tries, which just makes her more awkward to watch because her line deliveries and facial expressions are so off. It's a good thing she has a generally inoffensive personality, and is cute and blond.
shareI couldn't disagree with you more!I am a huge Gleek myself and I am always impressed with Dianna Agron's performance as Quinn. Her personality and demeanor offscreen and her character onscreen couldn't be more different and she always finds a way to transform herself into Quinn. Sometimes I can't believe that is Dianna! Ask yourself one question if she is such a terrible actress then why would she be cast in Glee, which is one of the biggest shows on television. And, by the way, Steven Spielberg sought her out for her role in I Am Number Four. If she is, as you say, a bad actress than Spielberg and the professional casting agent for Glee are dead wrong. Isn't that what you are saying? I don't buy it!

shareA lot of actors get cast based on vanity. Look it up, its called show business. They need to make money on the stereotypes to keep people entertained. Its just preference.

Dianna's voice is the thing that gets to me.
She was great in The Romantics where she played a young woman who's sister was getting married. It was only a smaller role, but I thought she did great.

shareNot to mention, when she was cast in Glee, it WASN'T one of the biggest shows on television. They needed a generic blonde to play the snobby cheerleader. It wasn't until after the show took off and they needed to develop the characters that we saw Quinn grow as a character. Had Dianna been cast later on, after the show became a phenomenon, that argument might have something to stand on. MIGHT (I mean, let's be honest. I love Glee, and it's super popular, but it's not necessarily a basis upon which to judge talent). Mariah111384 hit the nail on the head, directors cash in on a familiar face in exchange for talent all too often.
