More state lockdowns....
I truly hate this man!!!!!! LEAVE US ALONE!!!!
shareI have to ask, how does he enforce lockdowns on the homeless? They should all be dead by now?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j73cjA1IcJw
Pretty hard to blame Newsom for that mess.
shareNo lockdown for them then?
shareAre you somehow envious of the homeless who do have to be locked down? What is your point? How would you manage it?
shareThey need to be locked down like everyone else. They wont propagate the virus among themselves or others they may interact with? Not a ongoing hive of infection? It not rocket science.
OK, how practical is that?
> It [it's] not rocket science.
No, it's called epidemiology.
Will it save lives, slow reinfections? Isn't that the point of the lock downs? Yes or no?
shareWhat do you mean by "it". Do you mean locking up the homeless?
What do you assert here? Do you think a lot of people go to skid row, come in contact with these homeless who may or may not have C-19, and then get it and infect others?
I don't know about other people, but I stay well away from homeless people these days.
A Korean study just proved that you can get C-19 from being 20 feet away from an infected person for 5 minutes in an enclosed room.
What do you have against the homeless? Seems you believe their a danger to you, why? Were they a threat before the virus?
Don't worry the homeless will continual living their their lives as always, while you stay locked in your home, bullshitting on your computer. Or if at work, looking for another job if I caught doing this crap on mine dime.
As for me, I'm going to take a 30 mile spin on my road bike. Something that may or not be allowed, if you live in LA by the Mayor on December 2 statement includes.
”Walking, driving, travel on public transport, bikes, motorcycles and scooters are prohibited, other than for those undertaking essential activities.”
> What do you have against the homeless?
What do YOU have against the homeless?
Sidetracking the argument to emotion. That is really useless and unintelligent.
I asked you what is it you want, except to annoy people with illogic?
I don't know about other people, but I stay well away from homeless people these days. Did you post this or not? Why all the emotion?
You are the one who imbued that comment with emotion/bold emphasis. If you would have thought about what I said instead of the next irrelevant comment you were going to cook up you would have connected that to the fact that - epidemiologically, homeless people are fairly isolated from the rest of us and they are not a particular infection danger.
With that in mind, why is it you were the one to talk about homeless people, and seemed to wish them dead or think they should be? Did I miss your point, or you just did not have one?
Must be, because you said it for all to see. I didn't put those words in your mouth, you spoke them. So why do you fear the homeless? What could they possibly do you to you that "you stay well away from homeless people these day". Idea, go edit your post about it. No one will know.
shareNice try trollie GFY
shareThe homeless tend to stick together to themselves. Those who stay at shelters or live in their automobiles are just as distanced as those with homes but in less comfortable environs.
shareSo your contention is, while the homeless stick together there's little chance of them infecting each other or passing it on to others, while say, panhandling. Or doing whatever they do on a daily routine? I assume there some type staying alive ritual they preform each day? Finding food, money, drugs?
Did you see "Once upon a time in Hollywood? Have the hippy girls search for food and money in the movie morphed into something more evolved since the their time in the sixties?
The homeless in my area of L.A. have been wearing face masks, and as I already stated they tend to stick to one general location especially if they don't have a vehicle and/or have a shelter they can sleep at during the night time. Whether or not they're doing drugs their doing it in private in their tents or in a makeshift shelter (behind bushes or in boxes).
You seem to think of homeless in terms of stereotypes from movies, or as you illustrated from a specific movie taking place outside of reality.
All I've got to do is watch the vides posted on YouTube. This one today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Whao6hz5gA&ab_channel=JohnnyAcuna
A lot of no massed faces appeared during the vid. But your right they're all wearing masks. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Your video doesn't cite when this footage was taken and it also shows people at the beach playing volleyball so it obviously occurred at a time before restrictions were in place.
Better you troll somewhere else.
I guess you missed the people wearing masks in some of the shots. You also missed the shots showing some people wearing masks and other standing near by not wearing masts.
shareNo you posted a video with stock footage from different time periods outside of the pandemic. Your source is not valid.
shareHe is just trolling ... and seems to have no real point of view other than trying to annoy people by continually asking questions he doesn't care about and wasting your time.
shareYou are just brainwashed. Also don't seem to understand the fundamentals of viral transmission.
shareI'm not brainwashed at all but, I do believe that the lockdowns are not helping with anything. You can't stop a disease just by staying at home. That's silly. Viruses will spread regardless of what you do....
shareHopeless ... enjoy your hospital stay, if you can find one with an open bed.
shareWell, this is the third lockdown and what has it proved? Nothing!!!!
shareIt proves that people like you did not cooperate with the first and second lockdowns, or this mess would be over.
shareI have been cooperating so it is not fair for you to make that judgement about me. I was merely trying to point out that you can't stop a virus regardless of what you do. I wear my dumb mask all the time and I limit my time going out and I mostly stay home.
share> I have been cooperating so it is not fair for you to make that judgement about me.
OK, good job. It is the other non-cooperative folks who complain and do not follow the quarantine protocols that are causing all of us to have to do this again ... and I bet this will continue or there will be another wave because of them, even with the vaccines.
As far as not being able to stop the virus, that is exactly what the vaccine will do once we get to about 70% vaccinated. It seems illogical for you to blame Gavin Newsom unless you were just being dramatic and associating him with the pandemic unfairly or dramatically.
I wasn't blaming Gavin for the virus. I was just saying that with the lockdowns, it has created a lot of turmoil in the state of California. People are losing their businesses and income and unemployment went through the roof. Also, people are greatly restricted on what they can do because most everything is shut down. Suicide rates have gone up 35% this year; that's huge. I am not the only one who hates these lockdowns; this is one of the reasons why people want to recall Gavin Newsom.
share> I wasn't blaming Gavin for the virus.
>> More state lockdowns....
>> I truly hate this man!!!!!! LEAVE US ALONE!!!!
It is not the lockdowns that have created turmoil, it's the Coronavirus.
Yeah, we knew years ago that a pandemic would eventually happen and
could have a disastrous effect on the economy and kill a lot of people.
That is why they put in place the Pandemic Response Team, that Trump
disbanded and would not have listened to anyway.
Wanna hate someone, hate Trump.
Wanna hate someone, hate those people who broke the quarantine,
twice now to create a second and third wave, because they don't want
to wear a mask.
You did not even say you hated the lockdowns, you said you "hate this man".
Is my comment wrong or mischaracterizing you?
I don’t like Gavin or the lockdowns. I hope this won’t take a long time again (meaning the lockdowns).
shareLet people die? Safety first, but where is compensation from government
shareThe Delta between Safety First and short term monetary Government help is what's making the USA FAIL miserably. Trump's lackadaisical and currently nonchalant attitude towards the pandemic is a BIG part of it but even though I never supported him he's not the only one to blame here. Our government at the local, state, and Federal levels has exposed just as how unprepared we really are overall.
shareHe can't actually enforce these lockdowns, not after taking away funding from the police, whose numbers had already been dwindled. The cops can't even handle regular problems, never mind punishing regular citizens for "defying" the lockdowns. And nobody's taking him seriously, not after the stunt he and his cronies pulled at the French Laundry. There are already protests erupting all over the state, though the media is deliberately ignoring them and pretending nothing is wrong, or focusing on how many people "died" from CV.
share30,000 deaths in CA when we were doing so well ... all because of people like you who poo-pooed the masks, socio-distancing, lockdowns ... anything that might help ... and all for someone else's fairy-tale definition of freedom. First freedom is about staying alive and not being sick.
share250,000 people die every day.
shareExcuse me, I wear my mask every day and social distance all the time. Please don't make assumptions about me.
shareWe all gotta die someday. You can choose to live on your feet or die on your knees with your face diaper on

Hasn't he been going to parties with large crowds and sending his kids to school? I get why people think covid is fake or not serious. This assclown Newsom
shareYes, he had a party hosting 200 people and he asked photographers to not take pictures. He never practices what he preaches. He is a controlling jerk!!!
