He's very "rugged" you might say. But it's been the best thing for his career. If he's lucky he'll look around the same age for the next 10 years (like Steve Martin did, Eddie Murphy, etc).
Sometimes in hollywood it's good to get older looking early so that as you do age, it's not that noticeable to people.

shareI agree in parts, but I have learned that Luke morphs into many different looks/ages.
Right now, he's in his young look. Here's one of his latest selfies:

At best, he could pass as his age. I don't think he looks young. I've just looked up photos of this year and when he dresses as young and as trendy as he can, he still only passes as mid 30s.
On screen, playing serious parts, those closeups on that lined face, he certainly looks like a man in his early 40s, particularly with the longer hair.
But hey, it's a good middle aged look as its rugged, like huge jackman, so he'll continue to get big parts.
The last thing he should do is follow Rupert Everett's lead and botox that face.
Anyway he looks great. A really handsome man. And I mean look at his amazing body!..:) Plus those lines on his face only add sexiness to his look.

Great quote, and I'm glad he is fully aware of why he is getting work. Other actors only got roles when they lost their youthful looks (russell crowe for example.)
Yes, Michael Fassbender is the same (he looks older than his actual age). I think Luke and Fassy are hot.
