Creators of the show must have been high when they cast him, can't act, his accent is awful (sounds mostly welsh with the occasional word sounding like an Americans attempt at an English accent, not remotely scouse) and he seems to be unable to put the darkness needed into the character.

shareNah, he's killing it as the character, and I like the show---plus more of Constantine's darkness has been leaking out over the show.
shareIs he? At times I'm a little disappointed, but most of the time I think he does well. A lot of it is the writing and the fact the show can't go as dark as it should, due to being on network TV (imo, anyway).
shareI thought he was great as Constantine. He's the reason why I'm now interested in reading any comics relating to John Constantine.
