Looks a lot older than 33

Me too! I am watching the 2nd episode of Constantine right now, and when they briefly showed his character's ID, with the year of birth being 1982, I was like, "whoa, are we supposed to believe this dude is only 32??" But then, the actor's real date of birth isn't much different!

Honestly, to me it looks like somebody made a mistake in his information here on IMDB, and his year of birth should have said 1971 instead. THAT I could believe.

Me too...exactly...I saw 1982 and I was like yeah right...40s easily! Then on here I see 1981?!? Uhhh...sure...

I still cannot believe he's only 33. Poor guy, he looks terrible for his age. Like all of you I came here to find out more about him -I just saw him for the first time in Constantine- and I assumed the d.o.b was wrong.
He does look younger on those longer dark hair shots -like the one on his profile pic- but in Constantine, he looks over 40.

I was thinking the same! I was born in 1982 and always think guys on TV around my age look a lot older than me but with Matt I was really shocked to find out he's only a year older than me!

I thought so too...but luckily I like the older look 

I find it odd I'm a year older than him since I look 14...then again us Filipinos look young lol.

Honestly,I think he looks great for his age...its more rugged etc. I guess if he was clean shaven (no stubble at all) he'd look young

I know, can't be right. He either did a lot of drugs in his youth or is lying about his age. Wouldn't be the first bloke to do that to get a shot at an acting career.
