Smart girl

Her breakout role is in an acclaimed TV show that feels like a 4-season gig (low ratings but kept around because of the accolades and syndication) and since it is now starting its third season, she seems to be planning ahead, working through all her hiatuses thus securing herself a seamless transition into features once her show ends : she was in a high-profile film full of big stars this year (Deepwater Horizon) and she will be in another one of those next year (Annihilation), so by the time her steady episodic paychecks stop coming, she'll be established in features and can probably get film work in studio films - and promising indies - for years to come. As I said : smart girl.
