As a character, she may be mentally weak or vulnerable but when you've loved the same man since you were 16 and then had his baby...you'd stick around too, regardless of the circumstances. Tara Knowles was still fierce, smart, brave, and more strong than some people give her credit for. She was corrupted and blinded by love and bad influences, but still managed to keep herself grounded. Tara I admire you as a woman and a character on SOA. Her relentlessness and love for Jax is what ultimately led to her demise. Very tragic.

Loved her too. Wouldn't call her mentally weak. Opposite of that, in fact. She was strong willed and smart. But her love for Jax blinded her at first. When she finally stopped believing his false promises, she was ready to hit the gas and get out of dodge. But ultimately, that would never happen. :/

She seemed weak at first, needing Jax protection when the show began. And for a few seasons she didn't have much to do. Ultimately, unlike Carmela Soprano, she couldn't make peace with her reality.
