Top 3 Alex's movies

I truly like watching movies, and I particularly like watching movies starring my favorite actors.
I like Pattinson, I admire DiCaprio, I worship Norton. And I love Pettyfer because…

3. … in “In Time”, like I said a year ago, he was the Fire!
Not just hot, but burning. Not just bright, but sparkling. And charismatic. And funny.
And I remember I was just sitting and waiting for them freaking short scenes of his to breathe in that charged static air he brought with himself.

2. … in “Beastly” he was touching and sincere.
I don’t know why critics were so reserved (I guess they were just jealous), but Alex made his best to… warm the movie. I especially like the moment when beastly Kyle sees his “beautiful photo” on Vanessa’s laptop screen, and he decides she is in love with “beautiful Kyle”, and he gets totally confused, and stumbles, and trips over everything, trying to keep decent appearances at the same time :) It was so good and natural.
And I remember I was just sitting and smiling all the time watching him.

1. … in “Tom Brown’s Schooldays” he was impeccable, surreal, unique…
I must say the movie is wonderful by itself, so wise and teaching. But this young gentleman Brown!
Alex’s acting there was Art. All those conflicting emotions on his face… He beat His Majesty Fry even! I’m not sure he knew what he did then, I think, it was rather intuitive of him, but it was subtle, tense, piercing, elaborate, and profound!
And 10 minutes after watching, I’m just sitting here and crying…

You expressed my feelings exactly!!! Thank you, Winner-9819 :)

I would also add Tormented, he's SOOO b-tchy there, and handsome.

So, let it be top-4 then.

reply

Yes, guys, I totally agree with you, he was pretty tough in Tormented :)

Only in point of acting I think it was too easy for him. You know, kinda merry party with friends, playing clowns and all that. But surely, a feast for the eyes :)))

Unfortunately, I didn’t see Num4, and as for MM, frankly speaking, I didn’t like either Alex or his character there.

reply

Yeah, Winner, I totally agree with Michele.
I’d award him an Oscar for the tears in his beautiful eyes in one of the last scenes of Tormented ;)

And concerning Magic Mike, the boy was spicy, and hot, and so mature!
Only I wanted more dancing of his, and Channing was everywhere!

And why didn't you like it?

reply

Ok, guys, you have won me with Tormented :)

And as for MM, honestly, it left me emotionless. Alex was too hot/soulless for me. But perhaps, that was what he aimed at. I don’t know.

On the whole, I strongly believe that if he wanted he could probably be a new Marlon Brando or James Dean. He’s got it. But he doesn’t want it. At least so far… But who knows? Let’s look forward for his new works… :)
