Endless Love comes out on Valentine's Day 2014

I know what I will be doing on Valentine's Day! :-)

I wonder how close this version will stick to the book or if it will be more like the original movie.

I read a portion of the script and from the extras casting - it seems it is not following the book as closely as I would like. I loved the book so much. I think it is going to be a guy from the wrong side of the tracks type. But.... I can't wait!!! No matter what I know it's going to be great!

The bits of script that I've seen (thanks to riderwriter) have made me a bit nervous about this movie. It is obviously a very loose adaption of the novel. The book is not at all a typical teen romance, this movie sounds like it is. Obviously I'm hoping for the best, but I'm worried.

The book is not a teen romance but a psychological journey into the obsessed mind of David and also Anne. I can't imagine how to turn that book into a screenplay. I have a feeling this is going to be a dark version of a John Hughes movie. It is a nice change from the YA dystopic fantasy movies being made so...I have my hopes the movie will be good.
