I am glad he is having fun on the set of Endless Love and I am glad the crew is enjoying working with him. I have heard he has a wicked sense of humor but I wonder if maybe the rumors either stem from the fact that the English sense of humor is different from ours so some people here don't get that he is joking about things or understand his sense of humor. OR the fact that he is honest and outspoken. He says what he thinks and is who he is in interviews which I find very refreshing. He doesn't just spout off the same recycled answers that most actors do. He is honest, says what he thinks, and doesn't care what people think which I admire but maybe in Hollywood where everyone is supposed to say the same thing and be a certain way, it rubs those types the wrong way. I like a man who thinks for himself, speaks his mind, and is completely himself.
I had a friend who ran into Alex in L.A. and she also said that Alex was very sweet. She also said he seemed a little shy too but that he was so nice, took pics, signed autographs, and was just a really sweet guy. Being a shy person myself, I find that there are people who think I am arrogant or aloof, because of my shyness. I don't know why people label shyness that way. I am a very nice person, not arrogant, but I just happen to be shy.
OMFG. There are TONS of English actors and actresses working in Hollywood, and none in his age group have the bad rep he does. That cannot possibly be it.

Nope, I did not say he was a terrible person. you said that. I am sure his mother loves him and he has lots of friends. What I have said, in a calm voice for some time now, is that he clearly was a difficult actor to work with for his first few years in Hollywood.
