Lee Daniels wants to make gay action hero movie starring Alex Pettyfer

This is interesting: Lee Daniels cast Alex as a very bad guy in The Butler, now wants to star him in an "interracial love affair action movie." I'm not sure this will ever really happen, but I'd pay to see it.

He went on to reveal that, "Alex Pettyfer is in it, [but] I have to find the right black guy opposite him. He's so hot, isn't he? So hot. And so aware of his hotness in a way that's so…I love him to death."

This sounds like it may be too much for Hollywood like Behind The Candelabra with Mat Damon and Michael Douglas. That did amazing on HBO. I wonder if would be the same situation.

Either way - I'll be first in line for tickets.

It sounds interesting and at the same time very risky. It has the potential to be a challenging role for Alex. I wonder who he'll cast as the other actor.
