So far after seeing I am Number 4, Magic Mike and that disaster Beastly I think he is one of the worst actors ever.

He's absolutely gorgeous, but his acting skills are really lacking. He has a good team behind him, he's not going after serious movie roles, just nothing type movies people see for fun. Movies where it's more about watching him, than watching the story.

I agree he is an excellent actor. He really transforms into each role and changes his look for each role too. I think he stole all the scenes he was in as Fortis in In Time. I can only imagine how hard it must be to memorize all the lines he has to memorize in his movies plus focusing on speaking with a accent that is different than his normal accent and he does a really good job. He was awesome in Tormented and just adorable in Wild Child. I can't wait to see what he does with his role in The Butler which looks like it should be a fascinating and really good movie. I think he did well in I am number four and Beastly too. In both movies he had play characters that were unhappy in their lives but also trying mask that unhappiness and fit in and be liked and he did that well.

He so over acted in beastly. I couldn't stand him in magic mike. I don't get what people like about him, must just be looks. He needs to work on some stuff. Plus his issue with Channing. He just looks like an a$$.
