Does he really not have any projects in production whatsoever? What is the deal with him working on 2 movies in the last 3 years? I understand he has a bad reputation but surely he must be getting SOME offers? Maybe TV guest appearances or small roles in other films? This guy has nothing on his plate it seems. Anyone know what the deal with that is?

shareHe's a nightmare to work with, he can't act, and he has very limited box office appeal. An actor can get away with one, maybe even two of these deficiencies, but with all three, he has almost nothing to offer filmmakers, studios, or networks.

I'm not a member of Pettyfer's target demographic in terms of age or gender, but of the four films in which he's had lead roles, Stormbreaker, I am Number 4, and Endless Love were unambiguous box-office bombs (the first two actually killing off proposed franchises), while Beastly may, at best, have been a very modest (if critically despised) moneymaker. I'm not sure what "star quality" is, but going by the numbers, Alex Pettyfer doesn't seem to possess it. And that's a major problem, given his other defects.

Oh, and BTW: I'm hardly the only one who dislikes Alex Pettyfer, as evidenced by his rancid reviews, limp box office performance, and current unemployed status. Just ask Channing Tatum . . .
While you are at it you can congratulate Channing on his multiple Razzie nominations and the critical and box office bomb - Jupiter Ascending.
