Just realized something about her leaked nudes

I am re-watching the newsroom right now and I am at episode 2.05, the one where the B-plot is "Sloan's *beep* ex leaks her nudes all over the internet".

Isn't it kinda ironic and funny (in a dark way) that it then happens to her?

I mean, it's like a guy who makes PSAs about the importance of condoms and then gets an STD by having unprotected sex. You would assume that a person who stars in her very own (fake) scandal on TV learns something from it, right?

it's really dumb for celebrities or stars to make nude pics of themselves on their cellphones or computer because they can be hacked.

You are getting things reversed. Her photo leak happened way before the Newsroom storyline. They made that storyline to convey Olivia's pain and to shed light on the subject and the pain behind a person when that happens.

According to wikipedia the "fappening" leak was in August 2014.

The newsroom episode with the nude photos was in season 2 (can't remember exactly which episode). Season 2 ended in September 2013.

Last time I checked 2014 came after 2013. The actual leaked pictures came after the newsroom story. So, I am right and you are wrong.

...The article you posted states that those were fake leaks.

As far as I know (And I am not an expert because I do not care enough) she also had a leak in the fappening.

So either...

1) She had nude pictures stolen, made the episode and then had nude pictures stolen again (which would mean that she missed two opportunities to wise up)
2) There was a fake leak, she made the episode and then had real nude pictures stolen
(which would mean that she missed two opportunities to wise up)

Either way, I find it hilarious.

It's like somebody showing up drunk to an anti-drinking rally.

Some of the photos were fake, some were real. I'm not sure that she had a second leak, I think that the photos were the ones 2012.
