I think it was because her character was to star in a spin-off of AOS. That show was canned before it even got started (about the same time as Agent Carter was cancelled).

I'm really hoping they bring Hunter and Bobbi back to AOS somehow. They're both my favourite characters on that show and now that Grant Ward now dead and gone we need some strong characters on this show.
shareI have a feeling they will. Due to Agent Carter being cancelled and AOS getting just slightly better than average ratings, they'll be back I'm sure.

She's currently working on a new Seth Macfarlane tv series. I doubt she'll be back but if she is it'll be no more then just a cameo.
