Rachael Taylor's horrible American accent!

I really dont understand why Rachael Taylor gets roles but I can guess that its because she is pretty. Her accent is horrible and very distracting to watch. In the Transformers she opened her mouth so wide when she spoke trying to sound american it looked abnormal and very irritating! I couldnt stand the scenes with her in it! I am australian and dont understand why americans dont notice how horrible her accent is or is it me? I dont think so because in 666 park avenue her accent changes all of the time, from american of some sort to australian!! I dont like her acting either and she appears really fake and sometimes over acts!

I really wish that she didnt get parts for shows that are promising because she spoils it for me!! There are plenty of american actors that would love the part so I dont understand why people who cant handle the accent get parts!

She wasn't doing an American accent in Transformers. She was just acting with her normal Aussie accent.

What the hell are you talking about? I didn't even realize she wasn't American til I came on here. Go watch Robin Hood with Keven Costner, that's a bad accent.

Apparently you don't know the American accent, while I haven't seen transformers I've seen her in 666 & I've would have never guessed she wasn't an American.

Her accent work is quite good i think. Perhaps one of the reasons she does get cast in so many American roles. She has been working on her international career for some time and spent a lot of time here in LA. Maybe you are listening for an accent because you know how she really talks? I mean, it's your opinion and I am yet to see 666, but in her other roles I have always been convinced.

Don't be a troll. Her accent was spot on PERFECT in 666 Park Avenue. It was astounding how flawless it was. Same when she was in Bottleshock and I'm betting it'll be the same in her next show, Crisis.
