Oscars 2017

I swear, she better win for The Zookeeper's Wife or Miss Sloane - if they're critically well-received movies.
They're admittedly very awards-driven roles, so they're playing to the right audience. I can't imagine her losing out or even being snubbed again.

Her snub for AMVY was a travesty, too.

Hope Miss Sloane not come out in 2016. only The Zookeeper's Wife is ok

I seriously hope Blonde happens someday. I think JC would make an amazing Marilyn, even better than Michelle Williams', and I think she'd at least get an Oscar nom, if not actually win, for that role.

I really think she has a big chance with Zookeper's Wife. This role seems to be perfect for her :)
I really admire Jessica because she is doing what she promised to do. In 2012 she stated that she of course liked to be recognized by Oscar nominations etc. but the priority for her was to play different characters in different genres and now we have 2015 and she is now called "Queen of different genres":) It is real pleasure to watch movies with actress who not only can explain the smallest detail about character she played but also know exactly what means to be an actor and not aiming only to be a star!

I think she was totally snubbed for Crimson Peak this year! If Kathy Bates can win an Oscar for Misery, there's no reason Chastain shouldn't at least be nominated. Same with Miss Julie. She deserved a win for that one.
In any case, you're right, with the projects she has lined up (Miss Sloane, Blonde, Zookeeper's Wife), there's no righteous reasoning to her now holding a trophy in the coming years.
