So what's she supposed to do about that? Stop acting?

reply

The more movies I see her in, the more movies I want to see her in.

I find Oscar Bait infinitely more interesting than ticket bait

Plus one right here. After seeing Jessica in The Debt. I wanted to see more of her movies. If her name is in the movie credits. I'm going to see it.

Exactly. She's an actress you can't get enough of because she's so good.

reply

Indeed. And not only is she extremely talented but also she has a shrewd sense of which roles to take. As a result, she's been in some very interesting (and oftentimes brilliant) films, typically playing very different types of characters. The smart, wide range of roles she's taken has a lot to do with why people aren't "getting tired of her."

She really seems to me like an actor's actor. I mean she acts because she loves the craft, enjoys helping to tell stories, loves interesting characters, wants to work with good people, etc. It's good that she isn't, and hopefully won't be, corrupted by money, fame, stardom, etc. I'm glad to see she doesn't, and hopefully won't do, films just for the paycheck.

Same here. Looking forward to see what she will do next.
