Please Stop Doing the Oscar Bait Roles

I'm not one of those tiresome 'Miss Sloane' pro-gun trolls but I've noticed Chastain has made poor choices in the last few years. At the start of her career with things like 'The Debt' (her best performance) and 'Tree of Life' she played characters you remembered. Yeah she probably couldn't resist 'Zero Dark Thirty' - a chance to work with Katherine Bigelow and a guaranteed Oscar nom, but surely she could be more discerning now. Make some smaller independent films.

There's also the Guillermo Del Toro connected films which were so forgettable. OK 'Pan's Labyrinth' was good but he's done nothing to warrant his inflated reputation since. Stop going for the Box Office returns / award baiting roles and make some good films Jessica!

I watched her in an early episode of 'E.R.' and in 'Salome' and she simply gave better performances back then.

I realise she won't read this but I wanted to post anyway. I'm kind of bored with her and I never thought I would be.
