Pleasantly surprised by him.

When I saw that Kellan was cast in the Expendables 3, I was a little bit apprehensive. After looking him up and seeing that his big break was in Twilight, I just really didn't figure that he'd be capable of pulling off being a badass.

That said, I recently watched the movie Arena. To me, it seemed like he did surprisingly well in an otherwise really crappy movie. He pulled off the capable badass persona pretty well, and he has a lot of intensity IMO.

Looking forward to seeing him in some other roles now; hopefully he does well!

I was actually pretty dismissive of him at first. I just thought that he was another Hollywood meat head/pretty boy.

But when I saw him in the trailer for Hercules I decided to check him out. He seems to be a pretty substantive guy. I was surprised when I read that he was torn about having had given up all those college scholarships that he had worked for due to the fact that he decided to go into acting.

He reminds me of Channing Tatum. I hope it works out for him.
