So I ran into Alex tonight at Wholefoods, because apparently whenever I see him around town its at the grocery store. Anyways I just wanted everyone to know that he's looking really good and a lot healthier then he's been on the show. I didn't go up to him because he was there with Saxon it looked like they were getting dinner, so I just admired from afar. I just wanted to share that he was looking a lot better I wish I could have got a picture, but alas the iPhone is not the most subtle of phones...

He looks really good in the picture of him and Wo Fat. He looked tired all ready. Being spotted shopping with his son Saxon is the best medicine he could have right about now. Hope he goes back to Australia after shooting for some good rest.

There's been a few more pics released and i have to say he looks great! I'm so glad he's back, I'll watch the eps without him as they'ev done a good job of writing him out but the show isn't the same for me without Alex as Steve. So I'm so glad he is back but I do want them to make sure they write more balanced eps in future so he's not doing the lions share of the work load.

He does look good, but it looks like he's hair is more grey then we've ever seen.

not knowing what kind of regiment he had when he was in rehab, I am sure it was overwhelming for him to return. I would think he may of gotten used to a normal sleeping time and then to come back to the hours he has had to put in, that all though he looks much better he does appear to be tired and rightfully so. Can't wait for episode 22 as it seems like forever that he was on the show. Cudo's to Scott, Grace, Daniel and the rest of the cast for doing such a good job.

I agree yankeerebel I think Alex was getting regular sleeping time when he was in rehab. On the Hawaii five-O set he has to be there early and lots of times work until late. That's probably why he looks tired in some of the photos from the set. It takes some time to get used to working such long hours like they do on Hawaii Five-O. He does look good in the photos,even though he is tired.
