he was the runner up...between him and daniel craig...they went with daniel craig, they said alezx was too young....he would be perfect!!!

There were many, many actors who auditioned for James Bond before Daniel Craig was selected. As much as I'd like to believe Alex was their second choice, I don't think that was the case. I saw one of the other hot Aussie stars,(I can't remember who), on a talk show a few years ago, who claimed to have been the runner-up. I would pay to find out where Alex placed in the list. Personally, I think he's too good for the role, though.

This will probably sound a bit odd but I've never seen a Bond movie (I get a lot of flack from family and friends over all the classic movies I haven't seen)--but I'll tell you this: if Alex ever does play Bond, I will camp out in front of the theater!=-}
