That X-Men Movie Producer Lauren Shuler-Donner

Producer of the X-Men Origins movie, Lauren Shuler-Donner chose Channing Tatum because she was only after his D. Like all Channing fangirls usually are. Big Muscleheads like Channy turn lonely, sad, sexually frustrated women on. And we all know that Lauren Shuler-Donner should have stayed in the kitchen. Because if she did, Taylor Kitsch would most likely have remained as Gambit. Please make a petition to tell Lauren Shuler-Donner to stay in the kitchen where she rightfully belongs.

Not to mention I'm hungry and I need a sandwich. Where is my women at?

I like Taylor in the Bang Bang Club Film but I'm Not of Kitchs performance as Gambit.

He didnt have the red on black eyes, no cajun accent present (I wasn't aware Gambit was from Texas)
Didn't have the look or personality of Gambit in anyway. I'm glad they dropped him from the solo movie.

I'm all for a new portrayal of the character Gambit.

Nah sorry I don't agree nothing can be worse then Taylor Kitchs portrayal.

I'll support a solo movie with Channing over a 10 min cameo with Kitch.

Shame you prefer the actor over the character.

I'm a huge Gambit fan. I have been a big fan of Gambit since the early 90's. I've been waiting to see Gambit in an X-men movie since they started filming back in 2000.

It wasn't all bad. Kitch is at least a better actor than Channing

I'm not fan of Channing. I knew who he was but I didn't follow him. It wasn't until I saw 21 & 22 jump street I started to take notice. His comedy timing is great. Then they announced he was to play the role of Gambit in a solo movie. That got my full attention. I wasn't so sure at first, I had my doubts like anyone else who is a Gambit fan.

But after watching Channing's performance in Foxcatcher, I have no worries about his acting at all. He knocked it out of the park in that film. He's working with the likes of Quentin Tarantino which gives me a lot of faith he has grown as an actor. The more I see of Tatum, the more I've started to warm up to him playing Gambit.

He can easily lose the weight to gain the right body type for the character. Any actor can do that when dedicated to the role. I've heard him do a small tease of a Cajun accent in an interview. Which is good. I love cajun accents and I can't wait to hear him speak as Gambit.

plus he has personality

Im guessing you're Taylor Kitch fan? I'll take your word for it as I don't follow him.

As Gambit, Taylor didn't deliver Gambit's personality.

The way I see it, it's early days. When ever an actor is attached to a superhero movie, the negative Sayers raise their heads as usual and complain. It's a broken record, which I've heard one to many times with other actors.

I have faith in the production and in Channing playing the character. Just because I have an open mind and see potential doesn't make it a bad thing.

I've heard they want to make it dark and gritty, instead of just making another superhero movie. That sounds great to me, this will suit the character.

I know as soon as that first still or trailer hits, people's opinions change so quick.

If you like Taylor Kitch performance as Gambit, great. You can watch him in the Origins Wolverine movie. I'm just saying I wasn't a fan. It was very disappointing and at times cringe worthy watching some of the scenes they did.

Gambit is a cajun, a master thief. Trust me it wasn't Gambit on screen. He was too young, no hint of a cajun accent, no brown coat, no red on black eyes. It's like the producers based this character off Gambit. It was a waste of time and reducing, one of the best x-men characters to a 10 min cameo. It didn't work.

I am glad they are approaching the solo Gambit movie with a different actor and a different portrayal. It's needed.

Each to their own I suppose but don't go criticizing something you haven't seen yet. As I said its early days for the film.

"Lauren Shuler Donner has, in the past three decades, established herself as one of the most successful and versatile producers in Hollywood. To date, her films have grossed close to $3 billion worldwide. In 2008, Shuler Donner enjoyed a particularly prolific year. "X Men Origins: Wolverine" starring Hugh Jackman, was the fourth chapter in the successful "X Men" film franchise. The film grossed nearly $400 million worldwide."

Dude, this woman could hire you to make her sandwiches. Give it up.:)
