Channing should support pardoning convicted sodomites in the States

It's very good of Channing Tatum to support this petition to pardon men convicted under the UK buggery laws which went back to the time of Henry VIII and the Buggery Act of 1533, which made it a criminal offence for a man to insert his penis into another man's anus, but since he's an an American and many US states have criminalised anal sex between men far more recently than 1967, when it was decriminalised in the UK, perhaps he should be looking a bit closer to home and taking some action on home turf to have American men pardoned who were convicted for the same crime?
