I love both songs. I was just curious as to whether people preferred one song over the other.

No need to apologize...I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff...there are two memorial pictures commissioned by Warner bros. to commemorate Mel blanc and fritz freeling if I'm not mistaken...bugs and the whole gang with heavy hearts gathered around an empty drafting table and microphone...good god๐

Rainbow Connection is my favorite Muppet song in general (along with the more recent Muppet or Man of course). And while Kermit's version in the original film is the classic, I may like Karen Carpenter's soft almost lullaby-like rendition even more. :)

shareTrue, but I was also talking about "Muppet" songs in general, when I mentioned "Man or Muppet"; it even won Best Original Song (though the only other nominee that year was "Real in Rio" from the animated "Rio", so it didn't have much competition). For the ones Kermit's sang personally "Rainbow Connection" is still my favorite, but "It's Not Easy Being Green" is another really good one. :)
