What happened to her?

At one time it seemed like her roles were going to be more quality than they are turning out to be. Same with Abigail Breslin. What happened to them?

She's probably trying to avoid psychopaths on the internet picking apart every little thing she does like who she dates or what she wears or how much she doesn't smile when the paps are stalking her.

Actually, AnnaSophia has attended more exclusive events and made more public appearances, become far more comfortable around paparazzi, and posted more to social media while maintaining the same presence/engagement in charity programs as well as still mentions/discusses personal experiences, preferences, and so forth in the past few years than previously.

P.S.
every little thing she does like who she dates
I'm not at all sorry about stating that AnnaSophia, an admirable person, should strongly avoid any interaction with arrogant, narcissistic morons such as Adam Cobb.

 Y-e-a-h... AnnaSophia's prime acting years were 2007-2008 -- those being the movie release period -- although, she's almost always someone to admire, be an inspiration.

As for why... Well... My deduction:

1) Lackluster talent agent. Robb's skills are quite obvious and she has a vast portfolio now, including very positive comments from other (well-known) actors and directors. Basically, there are lots of exceptional performance examples in various skill areas and recommendations available, plus her genuine passion, that could easily set ASR apart. Basically, it's probably time for AnnaSophia to realize those supposedly representing her aren't making a reasonable effort and stop settling for roles in mediocre series and made for TV movies, such as The Carrie Diaries, The Space Between, and Mercy Street.

2) Personal life change. Even though AnnaSophia has exhibited mature behavior, at least, since beginning her acting career, the adulthood transition is a difficult one -- for most of us. ASR moved away from home, no longer having her mother regularly at her side. In addition, (as Ashley_The_Little_Rogue once mentioned) Robb had a unique childhood compared to most. She missed out on the typical social interactions, including the trial and error sessions of romance that many others go through as teenagers. Now, she's pushed to do it at a less protected time of her life, which is indeed one of the disadvantages of being dedicated to something such as acting at a very young age. Lastly, going through all of this in a city like NYC with the different set of social expectations, i.e., high class -- think second Hollywood -- has lead to several unhelpful relations.

3) Secondary education. Robb was adamant about attending college even as her acting career shined. Now, she's at that stage, which again requires effort and time regulating. However, this appears to be the lesser of reasons for acting involvement compromises -- ASR has stated that she doesn't expect to finish college in four years because of allocating less time than most students.

Nevertheless, not all is lost, at least yet. AnnaSophia still displays a kind, caring, adventurous, humorous, and otherwise mature attitude.

Same with Abigail Breslin.
From what I've seen and heard, Abigail has decided to do a little soul searching, as some say. She's most certainly still acting, however, does seem to have a new, stronger passion with music:

Obviously, that's going to interfere with filming, so she's going to need to compromise.

P.S. I enjoyed her performance in Haunter http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2345567, and the movie overall -- just to name something recent.

Yes,  to her! what happened to her career? It's dipping 😖

reply

She seems like a great person. She really should be doing better.

reply

She chose her boyfriend over her career. She will regret it later in life when they break up.

reply

Well she could have filmed plenty of projects since she goes to NYU and can just pick NYC films. I think she's just doing college right.
