You seem to be suggesting that she is labeling her sexual preference falsely, in hopes of 'gaining' something. That is pretty rare, tho, even in show-biz. It's more common for gay or bi entertainers to hide their same-sex inclinations altogether. For example, when Eddie Murphy was found to have offered that 'trannie' a ride in his car, he tried to rationalize it by claiming it was a humanitarian act, not sexual solicitation.
