On her show she would kiss men with tongue and self-admitted it was sexual harrassment, and they couldn't stop her

Uh, no. Weinstein was a predator who physically assaulted women and shut down their careers if they didn't want to sleep with him or let him control them. Kaling is nothing like that creep---get real.

She was just joking, but yeah, that's not something you should joke about it, and it's ridiculous that she would even do that. And she was really out of line claiming she was going to fire anybody like that, even if that was just a joke. She apparently thinks she's being "edgy" joking about things like this. And yeah, you don't just use being in a show just to kiss a total stranger---that wasn't even right. Anyway, here's a more recent article about the issues people have always had with her shows, which that Koimoi article points out. Apparently, some people have major issues with her portrayal of the character Velma in the new animated Scooby-Doo review:

When she was promoted from writer to executive producer on The Office she wrote the character of "Danny Cordray" specifically to cast Timothy Oliphant, on whom she admitted she had a crush. She then wrote her character to see him and exclaim "fuck me" to him, and his character had to react and be taken aback. Her character made other sexual remarks about his character too.

Please----men who say that even now aren't immediately just "booted" out of Hollywood. If a man gets booted out of Hollywood for sexual harassment or sexual discrimination, it's only after he's found to have been getting away with it for years, and only if he gets sued over it, which not many women can always do.

Oh no! I don't know if those grown men who act for a career can handle an on-screen kiss with a female actor?

OH GOD NO! A WOMAN KISSING ME??

I don't know how I would handle that! Emotionally or psychologically! I'm a 35 year old man, but say I was on a date with a girl and she suddenly KISSED ME? Without ASKING for consent??

I can't even imagine the emotional damage and psychological turmoil that I'd experience.
Surely I would need counselling, therapy, and possibily a restraining order, and press charges for assault, of course.
