Lucas Till has joined the cast of X-Men: First Class, reportedly as the mutant brother of Cyclops, Alexander "Havok" Summers. Word of the casting comes from Entertainment Weekly, but the article also points out that this news may be a bit of misdirection on the part of Fox, who want to keep some of the roles a surprise.

Havok would be a logical choice for a story featuring a younger Scott Summers. He first appeared fairly early on in the X-Men mythos, resentful of Scott's boy scout attitude. Able to control plasma blasts, Havok went on to star in his own spinoff title, X-Factor.

Fox is lying about the characters to keep them a surprise. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Lucas was cast as Cyclops himself instead of his younger brother. Lets see if there is a Cyclops cast in the future. Otherwise, I will be sure that Lucas is playing Scott Summers, not Alex!

If this is a reboot and not a prequel, he could also be Bobby Drake or Warren Worthington III.

He seems like he'd play a good Cylcops watched him on Blue Mountain State and he was pretty boys scout on that, but he is blonde like Havok, so who knows
