Oh my, I just saw him in his new movie Wolves and I couldn't stop thinking that too!!! It was uncanny...like a younger brother or something. All I could think of was Sam.

shareFunny you should say that, considering he's playing MacGyver now. Jared Padalecki played the nephew of MacGyver in a pilot a few years before he was cast as Sam Winchester on Supernatural. It seems the casting directors of both shows looked for actors with similar features to Richard Dean Anderson.
