Tony Jaa vs Jean-Claude Van Damme?

Yea Van Damme is an action star, that's not exactly to his advantage. He's not a real fighter, he's not a full contact martial artist. I'm sure with his lack of training and experience in real fights makes him a pretty awful fighter.
I don't know what background Tony Jaa has though.

Surely Van Damme must have him beat in weight and reach so I guess he has some advantages. But if Tony has any past experience of full contact martial arts he would DESTROY Van Damme.

id barely called kick boxing a martial art. its like boxing with a few kicks.

Tell that to Gary Daniels, Benny Urquidez, or Jerry Trimble.

No offense meant, but a fight has absolutely nothing to do with style or discipline, but what the fighters make of them; give me a bad fighter, and I don't care what style he's practicing - he's still gonna get beat. Next to nobody who speaks English knows how well-versed Tony is in real life.

I can't put my money behind Van Damme, but like most folks have said, I don't know a lot about Mr. Jaa. Tentatively, though, I'd vote for him.
