He seems like someone who could really help someone like Mischa Barton out (if she wanted it). Wishful thinking I guess, though. Plus she doesn't seem interested in keeping in contact with anyone from the OC

I'd say(and hope) he has moved on from that era in his life, she is a big enough girl that if she wanted help, she wouldn't need him but a professional to help her out with her life, he has one(a life that is and career), I don't see him really caring what she does w/ her life right now, she made her bed, now she's gotta put up w/ the ruffles and crap she's made or sort it out! maybe along the way she could get some acting advice cos she cannot act all that well I'm afraid!!!

lol. That's hilarious and would 100% true.
In all honesty, I am really surprised that out of all the "kids" on The O.C., it was Ben who went on to have the greatest success (so far). Nothing against him at all (he's a good actor) but all the others seemed to have greater momentum coming out of the show. Maybe more like flashes in the pan though... that or very young fans can be fickle.
