other than Rachele Brooke Smith, i don't see anyone else as capable. plus, she can act compared to Rachele, so she'd succeed in that department too. i haven't heard anything of a remake at this time, but she'd be the one to go to. not JLo.

shareI think after the lukewarm reception to the Footloose remake, Hollywood is not terribly keen on dance movies right now. There has been talk for years of a Dirty Dancing remake as well, which would be right up Alyson's alley, but who knows if that'll ever get off the ground.
