Name -- they pronounce an 'R' in the accent don't they?
I was just wondering if I'm the only one that notices this but the New Zealand accent seems to pronounce an "R" in Jemaines name.

shareI disagree, I think it's the American accent that adds the "r". When Bret says it, it always sounds like "Ja-mayhne." I always accidently add in the "r" sound, and hate myself for it. :(
shareNagh, it's just the accent. For instance, sometimes my New Zealand husband says "banan-er" but he means "banana".
shareyou are right I'm a kiwi and I say bananner! Its an odd accent what can I say!
shareI'm a Kiwi and have always heard it as Jermaine so got a bit of a shock when I found it was pronounced 'Je-maine'.
shareBetter to add r's than leave them out. Freaking americans and their "inner-net"
shareWouldn't that be leaving out the "t" not the "r"?
