I met her at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills late last year
I was working security for a Warner Bros. project called "Television Out of the Box" wherein different WB shows were featured in the museum like space.
"On the Red Carpet" came to do a show there and Eden Sher was the guest-co-host for the hour. The even had a mannequin representing Eden standing next to the Patricia Heaton mannequin.
During the taping of the show, a transformer blew out on a nearby street, plunging the Paley Center into darkness. Luckily, the camera operators had lights on their cameras and continued to shoot their scenes with that available light. During a break in the action, as Eden passed by me, I told her it was because of her "star power" that the lights went out. She turned quickly to face me, a big smile on her face, and said "That was so nice of you to say that. Thank you!"
It made my day.
