a young ethan hawke... i mean hawke is one of my greatest heroes right alongside bukowski, tarkovsky, phoenix, delpy, linklater, noé' and well a bunch of other people ... i guess what im trying to say is that that is the biggest compliment i could give to a 20 something person.... it's funny because i had only seen him play the sort of characters where it's next to impossible to find any depth... i mean i remember watching him in nancy drew when i was younger.... but i dont know... i think he's really talented after running into him while watching Disconnect for example... i think it would be super cool to run into him more often in remote indie films... kind of like what i call the golden gosling years with united states of leland, half nelson, the believer and all of those amazing stuff... i tend to get ahead of myself.... but im definitely going to follow which film he does next.... in a dream he would be cast in the next linklater film.... muhahah :D
anyways does anyone else see a hawkish resemblance...

Okay kudos and dido about his acting talents being in a league with Depp, Slater, Hawk, River and Jaoquin Pheonix, Gosling, ect. and I'll add The late great Heath Ledger, Dicaprio, ( although underrated) Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Michael Pitt, Joseph Gordon Levitt, and ( also new to the scene) Xavier Samuel.

Now, do I think he favors ( looks wise) Ethan Hawke? Nope...now I love Ethan, I do, but Max is a lot better looking :|... I do think Max looks like Cam Gigandet and a lil but like Kellan Lutz.!
