Could she win the Oscar for La La Land? I have a feeling the competition this year will be fierce! We have already seen amazing performances and it's not even October yet!

im torn between her and natalie portman
shareHer and Natalie Portman have the most buzz right now but a surprise could come.
shareI have seen La La Land and she is excellent in the film. Definitely my favourite performance of hers. She has been receiving nothing but amazing reviews for it and La La Land appears to be a major Best Picture contender, which never hurts an actor's chances at winning. I would say she is definitely getting nominated for it and is the frontrunner as of now, but we have yet to see Viola Davis and Annette Bening's performances.

shareViola Davis is already guaranteed an Oscar next year. She's being campaigned as a supporting actress for Fences.
So it looks the Lead actress Oscar is really a battle between Portman and Stone. I haven't watched any of the potential nominees yet so I can't say who I want to win, but I feel like it's going to be Portman because the Academy loves biopics.
