I've noticed that when you get to know someone how they look can change. I think it has more to do with appeal, but still. You can meet someone and they are just okay looking, but you get to know them and more and more they can become so attractive to you, even if to no one else. It works the other way as well.
I've seen 10/10 women with guys many would consider out of their league. But as you said it might be something attractive about them to those people and not just all about looks and if the person looks like a model. Not everything is about looks, and for those saying he's ugly. I love to see what these guys are like to take pot shots at Ritter's husband, most likely none of them are oil paintings themselves I bet.

I just would like to know when we became so jaded as a society that we can say that someone could do better just by someone's looks? Even celebs should be allowed to look deeper into someone they marry.

How many posts on here are about how ugly, or how fat, or skinny, or old, or hard looking....etc. Then when someone gets plastic surgery and ruins their face, we dare to ask why would they do that to themselves??? Us. That's why.

No, not at all, and I apologize for the oversight. I forgot that you are the OP. Like you, sslssg is a friend of mine, and I’m very protective of my friends when they seem to be under siege. I can have a hasty temper and act without thinking. You are not at all the kind of person I described. You are so much more than that. We are lucky to have both you and sslssg posting here. She is a beautiful girl (and talented and fairly famous and rich), and she is with a man I personally wouldn't even be able to touch - I just couldn't get over that at the time.
Now that I've watched Dark, I learned that the actor playing older Jonas is in a similar coupling - boggles the mind! Lol.
I often see couples in the real world and I admit I sometimes wonder what one of them is doing with the other. At work I once helped a mid-matched couple, who left the store and returned later the same day. I said, “Hey, we had a couple in here just a little while ago and they looked just like you two.” The woman, who was very attractive, smiled widely and said, “Were they young and hot?” I loudly replied, “SHE was!” She grabbed me and hugged me, then asked me for another hug.
