Taking vaccinations has been the rule for a long time in the military. I got the required vaccinations when I was serving, it is expected that everyone else who serves that can get them does so.
There is only one transexual appointed to the USN as an admiral. That would be Rachel Levine. That is a political appointment, she did not belong to the military in any capacity until 2021. She is only a Sailor by title just as the President is the Commander in Chief, not an actual soldier.
