Looks like this guy is the latest addition to the Daily Show team. I believe tonight was his first appearance and he did really well. He was super funny and I can't wait to see more of him on the show.

shareUgh, he's like a sad Jonah Hill doing a Chris Farley impression while wearing a Silence Of The Lambs-type Jack black suit. Obesity plus exaggerated movements doesn't necessarily equal funny. I don't mean that as a personal insult to any of you good folks or your taste, I just feel that the finest Daily Show correspondents have been talented as writers as well as actors. Hopefully Mr. Gad will meet his fat guy fate soon before I see too much of him. Or maybe I'm just bitter.

Because I'd sort of agree with you in that Kristin Schaal was pretty weak on the daily show, but I've respectfully chosen a differing opinion on the subject of my own suck-level. Should you accuse me personally of sucking I'm afraid I'll have no choice but to be mildly taken aback.
But back to Josh Gad, did he tone down the the "wacky fat guy schtick" on his most recent Daily Show appearance at all? I'm certainly willing to give him another chance.
