I just looked at her 2013 releases. Wow! Makes me wonder how anyone can fit that many movies into one year. Sure, I know they might not all be 10 out of 10 (cue the haters), but just sheer number!!! Where is she on the current A-list?

Zanjeer: Only major role and it flopped. Apparently Ram Charan is too dark to appeal to Hindi movie watchers. Some comments online called him ugly and ordinary-looking even though he's much better-looking than most Hindi movie actors by miles.

Priyanka is the highest paid actress in Hindi movies right now because of her salary for Zanjeer, but in terms of success/power/interest Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and probably even Kareena Kapoor are above her. Forbes India ranked the last two above her and Deepika is seeing a lot of success lately.
Depending on the production schedule the star is usually only needed on set for a couple weeks up to a couple months at the most. Unless the director is someone like Kubrick, who liked to shoot the same shot over and over again, dragging out the production schedule. Or, in the case of a huge production like Titanic or something, but she hasn't done any of those types of films yet.
