Tucker Carlson was let go from Fox News due to repeated controversies surrounding his conspiracy-laden coverage of the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, a lawsuit from his former producer Abby Grossberg alleging a sexist work environment, and his disparaging remarks about Fox executives.

However, the key factor in his termination was his repeated use of the misogynistic c-word (cunt) and comments he made about Sidney Powell.

Don Lemon, on the other hand, was let go from CNN due to his diva-like behavior and controversies, such as his refusal to attend pre-production rehearsals, his remark about Nikki Haley, and his desire to drink alcohol on-air during CNN's New Year's Eve telecast.

Both fired media stars have retained the same lawyer, and there may be protracted and ugly negotiations for golden parachutes for Carlson and Lemon.

Just because some members of a discriminated minority use certain language, does not make it not-discriminatory. There's plenty of minority people that are actually prejudiced against their own people or have self-hate, or use the language ironically, or try to be cool about it because they don't want to be considered a prude, a party-pooper or woke, or try to reclaim/reappropriate those words.

Personally I say the word 'bitch' all the time and don't think they should be considered discriminatory really because they are seldomly meant with a sexist connotation, just like 'dick' or 'gay', and language is all about real life usage, but there seems to be quite a strong trend to make these words a taboo because their literal meaning references gender.

He literally cost them 700 millions. And new lawsuits may now come after people saw that such lawsuits can be won.

Tucker Carlson lied a lot during his time. There are hundreds of people and organizations out there that can sue him or Fox.
