I agree. I came to this board to see if someone has made a thread about it. If Matt Smith doesn't work, he is a great choice.

In all fairness, Matt Smith isn't a bad Doctor. The problem is Moffet has stated he feels that Doctor Who is really about the companion's travels with the Doctor. If you watch closely, you can see glimpses of the potential of Smith's Doctor. He's just not being given the opportunity to develop the character.
(He'll still never beat Tennant for me though. :) He and Tom Baker are my favs!)

Interesting, I think he should definitely be considered at the least.
