shareGod I love this man. My adoration for him has deepened exponentially this week after the finale. It's so lovely to see how beautifully he crafted the arc of Sherlock's maturation, from the hyper excited, emotionally unavailable, irresponsible boyish Sherlock of the pilot, all the way through to a deeply caring, redeemed, sensitive and kind man (still kinda irresponsible, lol) of the last episode. So achingly beautiful.
It's been so amazing watching Ben grow as an actor over the last few years. I mean, he was always awesome, fresh and exciting to watch in his immediacy of a character, but because of all the work he's done recently he has truly become unequaled in his portrayals. And he still has so much energy, such joy in life, such understanding of the human condition, and can present that with complexity and love.
Sigh. ☺️ I lurve him. 😍

I've learned to rein in my adoration on this board but like you I do absolutely adore Benedict. Lavish all the praises you like, I won't mind!
On the odd occasion when it's apparent that he's not perfect, it always comes as a bit of a surprise to me. LOL
When has he ever not been perfect? Okay, sometimes his mouth gets a bit out of control, but he then always apologizes *perfectly,* so...😜
