Oh, wow, yeah, good doesn´t cut it- I haven´t read such an in-depth great analysis since the Harry Potter days. This article was astonishing and made me love the Sherlock series even more! Bloody brilliant article and I think every fan should read that one and I have a feeling that Moftiss would appreciate it as well!
The Final problem - unlocking love - brilliant.
I think the theories in the article about the symbolism of the coffin were very intriguing and beautifully laid out and made a lot of sense!
Even though I´ve never seen a spark between Molly and Sherlock, I found her (the writer´s) thoughts on the relationship between Molly and Sherlock fascinating and her article almost persuaded me to change my mind. Although I do agree with her that Sherlock loved Molly while he said " I love you", but in my opinion he loves her platonically like a sister, the way he loves John as a best friend and family- a brother.
Thank you for that one, QueenZod!
Sorry - but reading that reminded me of why I stopped looking at tumblr. I have a huge problem with someone giving a man's perspective of the episode. Everything about Sherlock is already a man's perspective - it's written by men and it's about a man. We don't now need a man to explain it to us. What we get out of it is up to us. And I really disagree with his Sherlock/Molly explanation.
It's nice to read something that isn't ripping the show apart, but I don't think her husband has any kind of profound insight. There's a disturbing tone of "if a man said it, then it must be so". But maybe that's a reflection of the relationship she has with her husband.
Oh, really? I thought there was a lot of insight and I liked it because to me it captured the essence of the episode and I have no problem hearing a man´s view on the episode and she did give her own thoughts of it as well. That being said, I don´t think I´ve gone to tumblr more than a couple of times during a lifetime and the more I hear of it, the more insane it seems.

I have a problem with her being so amazed by her husband's view, and that she needed it to better understand the episode. She needed a manly brain to spell it out for her.
Hmm, okay. Would you have preferred it if the article was based on a womanly brain? She did write it.
If I would have a husband or a best friend appreciating films and Sherlock while elaborating thoughts and theories so eloquently like that, I would me amazed as well.

Ha! You have a point. A friend of mine texted me last week that she loved TLD "for so many reasons", and that made me ridiculously happy. I still haven't spoken with her to hear her reasons, but I'm sure I'll love them!

! Hopefully you will, I think so!
I read no further than "my female brain just bumbles around in the dark..." Barf!
