I feel like this is a guarenteed hit and I'm excited. At the moment, there's no competition (other family Christmas films) and Illumination is been on a streak because of their aggressive ad campaigns.

Yes, they are pretty successful and the general audience love them. I just wish it will be also a critical hit. Some people seems to be very cynical about Illumination movies. I haven't watched too many of their movies but the two My Favorite Villain movies are good and the visuals are lovely.
