Doctor Strange opening in second-run theaters

There's a second-run/independent theatre in my neighbourhood. They showed both The Hobbit and The Imitation Game, so I hope they also get Doctor Strange. Their website is only listing movies until February 9 so far.

Speaking of Doctor Strange, someone on Twitter pointed out that today, Groundhog Day, is the anniversary of the car accident that ruined his hands. The have a closeup of his watch showing the date.

I'm just back from the dollar theater and wow, was it great to see DS on the big screen again. I've seen countless screen caps and gifs on the internet but those just aren't the same as seeing the whole film.

I tried to catch the date on the watch both times they did close-up shots (when he first puts it on and when he looks at the broken crystal in Kamar Taj) and probably could have seen it if I looked in exactly the right place at the right time.

And no that pun was not intended.

That must be a sign of times... Or maybe a gene tempered groundhog, when it can lay eggs!😙😚😙

Ps Yes, that is jealousy speaking. No way to get such a treat here, in he middle of nowhere.
